My Abduction Experiences

The First Time...
The aliens must have started abducting me at an early
age; you can see from the photo how I started imitating their appearance
with sunglasses.

| In my childhood and adolescence, I often awoke during very
bad nosebleeds. This was clearly a result of the aliens placing their tracking
objects up my nose. Also I clearly had an interest in space and the stars. |

Often, even into adulthood, I would occasionally hear
a high-pitched whine that no one else around me ever heard. Well, I never
actually hear it, it's more like I feel it, like a change of pressure.
According to a posting on the USENET newsgroup alt.alien.visitors, this
sort of high-pitched sound indicates that a UFO is flying overhead.
Another posting in the newsgroup suggested that feeling
a sense of entitlement and satisfaction when automatic doors open indicates
a familiarity with aliens. I have always felt that too. |
Coming to Terms...
And most recently, I have come to grips with my alien
abductors, or Space Brothers, however you want to refer to them, and have
welcomed them as a part of my life.*

THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE...
What IS Alien Abduction, Really?
Maybe it is really happening...
Maybe the Zeta Reticuli aliens are on earth, have made deals with our government
and others, maybe they are responsible for abductions, cattle mutilations, etc.
Or maybe these people
have seen Blue Man Group perform in New
York, and just think they have been abducted by sheer fun.
I did. 
Or perhaps, they are not
among us. Perhaps alien abduction is the way people who are dreaming are perceiving
the collective unconscious and are seeing archetypal images colored through
modern technological filters. Once, people saw angels and devils because they
were the supernatural beings who visited the earth. Now, in these technological
times, people perceive their experiences in terms of technology, and the beings
from outside are aliens from other planets. We are rewriting the myths for a
new techno-age.
Spoken like someone who
reads Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell, no? (And no, I do not believe that I have
ever been abducted by aliens...)
*Al'len the Alien, pictured here with the author, appeared in a
production of Aliens! 3 Miles Turn Left, written by Schrum and performed
by Dave Scopinich in 1994. Human visitors to Schrum's house can still meet and
visit with Al'len.
