Just Notes
For World, Inc.

Revelation: Coke and Pepsi are owned by the same company. The rivalry has all been a ruse to fire people up against the opposition, distracting them with the belief that "Too sweet!/Too bitter!" controversy really matters.

Another business conspiracy: American fast food restaurants and the weight loss clinics are all working together; the restaurants serve larger fatty portions so that people will love them, become addicted to them, eat them, gain weight, and be horrified by a media portrayal of the "normal" person (so many haven't realized yet that normal is only a setting on the dryer), and so they pursue the weight loss schemes.
Jargon: LTP: Life Termination Point (death).
There are two world cabals: The evil cabal is currently dominant, but there is a hidden "good" cabal that works to cause the downfall of the evil, and to unify the world. However, since the methods of both are equally ruthless, it is hard to distinguish them; the means are the same, although the ends should differ.
The leadership council of the evil cabal consists of 12 members who represent 12 great historical empires or kingdoms (including the British, Greek, Japanese, Chinese, Roman, Frankish, Holy Roman, Russian, German, etc.); Their vision is that of a united world, the World, Inc., with one government under the leadership with a single president/ruler (known in the religious documents as the Antichrist). As they consolidate their power, they are searching for the person capable of becoming this leader. They search for this person in the USA, since it was never an empire. However they are avoiding the term because they refuse to be too religious in their interpretation of world events, or too literal in their interpretation of religion.
The Agency (for which Sam works) is arm of the good cabal. The Agency no longer use guns with bullets. They changed to poisoned darts because it’s cleaner. It’s also quieter, so they can do much more killing—purging—in broad daylight. Although, they sometimes do use more extreme measures, as in the first set of scenes.
One character is a man who has the unique ability to see conspiracies everywhere—and we should mention that, yes, they are actually there. He also can formulate ways to stop the conspiracies. However, he has one fatal character flaw. He suffers from delusions, and so often sees things that aren’t there. He finds himself connected to the positive cabal:

"There’s a whole network of us, I didn’t realize it at first. Then I realized, when I talked to other people, that they feel the same way as me. They have had the same experiences. So, I’m not alone, I thought. And then it hit me: all the years people saying I looked like somebody they knew. That was the code phrase, the recognition signal for the underground."

There’s a rumor of telepathic prostitutes living in the Nevada desert in a little colony of trailers. They make a great living because they know exactly what their customers want.

There’s a famous rock band involved somehow. They were an Indie Band before indie bands were cool, and a garage band after garage bands were passé. They went through many incarnations, found in the list below). Though staggeringly unknown and obscure, they did have a few fans such as the girl who was such a fan of the lead singer, Dick Shrivel, she spontaneously generated his love child.

Band Names:

One of their songs is: "When I’m in a Coma, I’m Immune," a tribute to drug use. They were also responsible for "The Ballots of the Caribbean" and "My Soul Is On Layaway, And My Payment’s Overdue." They provide a satiric soundtrack to the proceedings.
